I run outside.

I prefer it. I go at dusk and dawn.

However it's that time of year again now when you can pick up half decent deals on over inflated equipment.

Looking at getting myself a treadmill. Just for the interest really. Specifically a nordictrack.

Anyone used that or anything similar with a screen? Any good or keep away.

I have a dedicated home gym and the only reason would be for convenience really I can gym and run in 1 place and blast out both workouts the same time.

I'm just unsure which normally for me is a signal to avoid. So be interesting to read any users experience here.

Are the screens and running locations that good?

Can you do hiit or design your own running plans where it inclines and speeds up at set times without me touching a button or am I asking too much?

I do have a non smart bike and rower both get used weekly (3 times) so don't think it will gather dust. I run 6 days a week.

I also don't mind running in the cold nor rain. So it's not to avoid that.

It's more of a I have money and a convenience.

I really prefer walking outside because I can’t walk dogs on a treadmill but I do have one!

I have a tv right across from it because it can honestly get a little boring feeling like you’re walking and getting nowhere lol

I don't do treadmilling now because it's opposite of my goal to be SHREDDED AF.

I did have a treadmill before and it was nice to sprint on it.

Then my fat brother jumped up and down on it and broke the motor.

Never really got another one anyway.

Did he think it was a trampoline
Pretty much.
Re shredding are you just on the weights then not cutting body fat?
Well thing is with cardio is it basically stresses your cortisol system.

And if cortisol is chronically high then that blunts hypertrophy.

Im talking about 45 mins zone two every day sort of training.

As for fat loss I'm combining cold baths & showers with Carnivore for fat loss.

I don't lift weights funnily enough I use variable resistance bands.

(Which basically follows human biomechanics better than a static weight.)

Is it going to be for jogging/running or power walking?

If for walking i'd get an under desk one, as such:

Some people use them as a 'lazyboy' dog walker too 😆

I have a cheap treadmill that doesn't have an incline option, but it has worked for a couple of years, and I don't complain.

Then I went and bought this thing, an absolute beast:

Running. I'm not that lazy.

Looks like a beast. I considered a non smart one but most of them look cheap unless you go down the pro route.

I'm a big guy from weight lifting anyway so needs to handle my weight and impact I'll cause on it.
