Trump hooks up with crypto platform

Donald Trump's media company Trump Media & Technology has signed a cooperation agreement with crypto platform Crypto.com. The agreement means that the cryptocurrency cronos will be integrated on the Truth Social platform and can be used as a means of payment.

Trump Media is thus investing $105 million in the cryptocurrency, while Crypto.com is in turn buying $50 million worth of shares in Trump Media. The announcement sent shares in Trump's company soaring nearly ten percent in pre-market trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
