but you should remove the http:// since we shouldnt be using http to begin with
and secondly, you can post http in the query and it won't double up like

http://https//ursite.com/img.png

maybe change that to URL
or .PNG .JPG .GIF .WEBP extensions only or something

I have no issue with uploading via hotlink.

Are you referring to the attachment feature or the embed feature being disabled for you?

You should be able to do both. I tested it for myself as it's possible, but I'll use one of my non-mod test accounts to see what the issue is. It's most likely a usergroup issue associated with the new add-on we just got.

Edit: Yeah, I see attachments is missing. I'll enable it for those with Sapphire membership as another perk because server space is an issue for now.

Okay, Founding Members and those with Sapphire Status can now upload attachments to DMs.

Regarding the http:// thing, that one is difficult to edit because Xenforo makes phrases in their Froala text editor difficult to modify. You see, it's not in the template or anywhere that I could easily get to. I believe I may have to change it with javascript, but it's a minor issue that I'd rather... try putting it back on the company that made Xenforo.

I'll look into mentioning it on their forum at some point.
