As of June 19, 2025, Office Outlaw has an improved search functionality. With this improved search functionality, members can now use search operators on OO rather than using site:officeoutlaw.com on Google.
  • + between two phrases is an "and" search query.
  • | between two phrases is an "or" search query.
  • - before a word omits search results with that word.
  • " around a phrase searches for that exact phrase and nothing else.
  • * at the end of a word is for a prefix query.
So now, you use use the search function on the site to perform more complex searches such as "Instagram guide" -Facebook, which will display results that contain the exact phrase "instagram guide", but do not include the word Facebook.
