What are your thoughts on “self-censoring”?

You see this so much online these days. People will write a*s instead of ass. B*itch instead of bitch. Sometimes they just scribble the word out on images.

I thought it was a trend at first but it seems like more people are doing it now than ever. I find it a little silly to be frank with you guys but that’s just me.

It's a little silly, it's a habit I have from not wanting warnings while being abusive

some years ago many popular platforms (youtube, porn sites, deviantart... at least these are the ones I know of because I used them, but it was probably reddit too.. and onlyfans too I think) were censoring many words, so people had to find workarounds for using them, that's why they had to use weird forms of these words.

Actually, I think that even today many words are being censored, there's a whole agenda behind insidiously removing language completely which - when coupled with the human-AI fusion (which is the ultimate goal of the criminals that rule over us) - will make humans incapable of thought, having our reactions dictated to us by the AI, so that we can't think, can't revolt, and can't whoop the asses of these human haters that only need us for their sexual pleasure, for food (as in, we ARE their food), or for slaving for them...

So, regarding the language that's quietly getting deleted, here's where I've heard this information! I've linked exactly to the part where he mentions this, so just click on "play" and listen to the next 30-40 seconds or so...

Also, this clip only mentions the language being removed part, it doesn't say anything about the AI-human fusion and how this is the endgame. Stuff like this you have to research from other sources (although, I did hear the guy in this video address this a few times before, but I'm not going through his 100s of videos to find that thing, you'll have to do your own research if you want to learn about this stuff, and then put 1 and 1 together to obtain the necessary 2

Social media sites censoring what they deem is "naughty words" there by limiting reach thus people adapt.

I've seen people censoring the word Hell now...

I think it's pretty stupid, to be honest. Everyone still knows exactly what word is being used, so replacing one letter with an asterisk doesn't really change anything. It just makes the text look awkward, and I don't see what it actually accomplishes.

I do it occasionally. I will remove a letter or something, like fcking or something. Not entirely sure about the resoning, frels less harsh sometimes.
I remember @back2form saying once he can't stand seeing curses to it might have something to do with it as well, not sure it's all a blur at this point.

I never do, if I can I avoid using the word, but when i do, there's no censoring.... it is what it is, why dress it up nicely?
