I was looking at a forum I used to enjoy posting on called Psych Forums and saw that their board is down these days.

This got me looking at some other old community sites I enjoyed browsing and found that some of them are just gone now.

Are there any forums or community sites that aren't around anymore that you still miss? Tell me about them.

Nahh, all the forums I frequented are alive still... If bhw will go RIP (I mean people slowly move to OO) then that'd be the first time this happens for me

I'd never remember the name but there was a "Warez" forum I was a member of in the 90s, spent a lot of time there over the years. Then around when DMCA went into law it disappeared overnight and without notice, lost touch with pretty much everyone I knew on there.

That’s always a difficult part with forums. If you don’t get the contact information of some people you talk with, you end up losing contact with them.

It’s still around but old WickedFire has the bomb. Loved the community there they had a real sense of humor.

It might still be up but it’s a ghost town compared to what it once was.
This!

I miss the WF forum not warrior forum lol

I loved the banter and jokes lmao

Was anyone here part of digital point forum lol

That was the first forum I joined

There were some forums from the early 00s that I used to really like (mostly phpBB for those who remember). None of them are live today, obviously, but I made some great IRL friends there. Been to each other's weddings and all, with some even our wives get along..

Opportunity for me to get that place alive with my ramblings.

This time I'd make robots to talk to me there. It'd be fun.

I miss my own old Swedish business forum out if nostalgia .. hmm. Shut it down in 2006-7 to much money coming in elsewhere .. mistake maybe.

Dreamviews.

I believe it's still up but it's a shell of its former self.

It was a lucid dreaming forum and I had an odd fascination with dreaming back in 2013-2015.

They had an irc channel as well.

lmao look at this.

Oh I wonder how ld4all is doing but last time I checked it existed still. Idk how active (or not) it is.

I was a mod for a bit on Jimworld (if anyone remembers that), and also on a smaller forum called SearchGuild, both in the mid-00s. I miss them both, posters used to post actual specific questions that you could answer, rather than "How do I seo?"

Martial arts planet forum

I was well known there under another user. Met tons of people around the globe. Trained some members there, helped a few get off the ground in the ring as fighters, got shown a few things myself.

Used to go to fights, events, seminars and all sorts back in the day had forum members stay at my house was a wild and strange old time.

Made great connections and friends funny enough not thought about that place recently until I browsed through here.

Another time and place that feels like. Totally another life time ago.

Don't miss it really sort of moved on.

Bodybuilding.com was a great forum.
18 years ago I was part of a Jedi Academy clan and the forum for that was great. I spent a good chunk of the summer out on the balcony playing that game online; good times.

The NGamer forums that accompanied NGamer magazine was great as well.
