What kind of shoes do you wear?

I don’t think there’s been a shoe thread on here so I started one!

So what kind of shoes does everyone wear?

Me, well I wear Vans usually both in and out of the house.

Red wings is almost my go to for everything I've just finished breaking in 8146 roughnecks.

I have 2 pairs of boots that I alternate between and 1 pair of shoes.

I usually wear a pair of Altama Men's Vengeance SR 8" Side-Zip boots, but I sometimes wear a pair of similar boots from a company called Sailofo.

The Altamas are more ideal because sometimes, because of the side zip, I just slip them and walk around with them unzipped if I’m just doing something around the house. They’re lightweight and durable, so I tend to do everything in them. Their main weak point is that they aren’t the best in wet conditions, but I have a different pair of boots I rarely wear for that.

On off days, the Sailofos are like a cheaper version of the Altamas. They’re a little heavier and don’t have a side zip, but they’re much more durable and I’d even say better built in general.

The only pair of “regular shoes” I have are some barefoot shoes from Whitin. I tend to run and do hikes in those when I’m not doing unshod walks and hikes.

I'm a Birkenstock Two-strap kind of guy myself. But this isn't always feasible herr. So it's usually Chuck Taylors or Tomberland Classics depending on the terrain and occcasion

Dude I just bought Birken a month ago look pretty rad and yes it's according to the occasion

Great boots. I've had a pair of Redwing Beckmans 9016's for over a decade and wear often, they still look great. Just had them deep cleaned, but due for a full resole and restitching.

Those look like solid boots. There was a point when I was looking for Goodyear welt boots a couple of years ago as they’re resoleable and considered a “buy it for life” item.
