Just thought I`d start a thread to see what others use.

Myself I often use a VPS host in my country as it is both fast and really cheap.

2 CPU / 4 GB with replication cost me around $50 a year, that is way lower than the regular ones like DO, Vultr and so on and it is also faster, check the performance chart at the bottom of the page.

Share your gem so we all can find better VPS sources.

If you use it to host WordPress sites I recommend xcloud were you can use their free selfmanaged account for 1 server and 10 sites on that server.

RamNode was my go-to for a very long time, I still have locked in pricing on a few small VPS instances from 15+ years ago. Though I'm more often using Hetzner nowadays, their price to performance ratio is hard to beat.

https://lowendbox.com/ is a good resource for finding solid VPS deals with community member comments on benchmarks/feedback on the companies.

Never seen it that cheap. https://lowendbox.com/blog/cyber-monday-cheapwindowsvps-has-you-guessed-it-cheap-windows-vps-offers-get-a-4gb-vps-for-only-33-year/
That's crazy low price, two months of electricity around here.

Well, reviews don't look good, so be careful. :P

I used lowendbox.com a lot when I was new, the problem back then was the bad uality of the companies that provided the services.
Am I new, maybe, only 27 yo retired, 5 years total hardcore mind-brain activity, absolutely exaggerated mentally burnout. :sneaky:

Well, today things look different. So soft and light...

I used Kimsufi and OVH... I spent so much money on resources I didn't need. :devilish:
