I had a legal battle with Damien, he pulled some very sly tricks to avoid what my solicitor was going after/requesting him to do. I’ve never met a man of his supposed business level and age behave so much like a spoilt brat when you don’t suck his dick and be a yes man… BTB is a prime example of this.
Contrary to the nonsense on the forum - I was not permanently banned, I got a week ban for arguing with BTB in the public forums when he chatted shit about some of my old moderator friends that were no longer around, if they’d been around he’d never have been a mod as they all seen through his shit… hence his digs at them, so I stepped in and gave him a piece of my mind (I have so much dirt on that man it’s surreal).
During the temp ban, GoldenGlovez told me Damien was going to also remove my exec vip (back when it actually meant something, proxygo is an exec now ffs) - now this was the second time, when I stepped down as moderator again due to falling out with Damien due to his tendency to make rules up as he sees fit, he removed my exec status then which was actually another rule he just made up that day, before then all old staff members got keeping exec as a thanks, but whatever I got voted back in a few months later.
So when goldenglovez told me Damien was removing it, I mailed him basically told him to stick the account up his ass if he was removing exec to just make the week ban permanent. I then under gdpr laws asked for every bit of content I placed there or linked to me be removed - this is where shit got messy and when he started his tricks and edits all over the forum, I kept at him told him I’d release the apology screenshots I had of BTB saying sorry for writing fake ripoffreports about my company as well as other stuff I was privy to with being staff before. I’ve found the more you go at him the more he bites haha.. so he adds “attempted extortion” under my username as if I was banned for trying to extort money - no I was trying to get my content removed.
We went down the legal route for months, inevitably the sly tricks he pulled fast covered him in a sense that the content couldn’t be linked directly to me.
I got on with life, the forum was already a shit show at this point and the market place was destroyed with barely any traffic, I’d thankfully seen that coming years before so had built up other traffic streams.
I never really gave it much more thought… but I know I still live rent free in Damien’s mind even now, it’s insane for me to learn certain things.. I knew he hated me but feared banning me without good cause as he doesn’t like backlash, but boy oh boy I didn’t know the level of hate he has for me, it’s comical! He must have thought all his Christmases came at once when I told him to make the week ban permanent.
Serplogic continued on and turns a decade old this year. I got into trading too in a big way and a lot of my focus is on that now.
