I’ve noticed I’m using Ahrefs and SEMrush less and less over the past year, and I’m honestly starting to question whether SEMrush is still worth keeping.
I’d lose a couple of things if I cancel but even with that, the cost is getting harder to justify. Especially now it seems there are so many tools AI tools that are much cheaper but accomplish more.
My biggest issue is data accuracy. A lot of the estimates from these SEO platforms don’t even come close to reality in many cases. And bad data is worse than no data at all; bad data leads to confident but wrong conclusions, which is far more dangerous than knowing you might be missing something.
So I’m not sure anymore whether the subscription still makes sense. Anyone else in the same boat?
