Why do people still use multiple devices in 2026?

Hear me out. You’ve got a phone that can be your radio or camera or flashlight. Your phone can do everything for you. But there are still people who have multiple separate devices when they have a phone.

I get it if you’re a professional who needs a top tier camera but what I don’t get is why your average person still would use separate devices.

Once phones started getting more advanced I ditched those other ones. I don’t even carry a flashlight these days. Why would I when I’ve always got one on me on my phone?

Help me make it make sense on why someone would still use multiple devices in 2026.

iPHONE is for camera.
Android is for being cheap.

You own multiple devices to have easier time understanding what happens on iOS or Android when you test something.

I didn't believe in happiness until I got extremely bipolar switching between depression and other states.

It was so deep I made a nonprofit 0 employee company focusing on happiness. I'm stuck making content for it. I'm in a nasty situation. Need to fix that first.

Ahh, it's such a good hack. Social media and other places always say WELCOME to people who focus on increasing happiness.

your phone cannot replace everything
sometimes you still need a proper flash light that isn't dicated by your cell battery lvls
sometimes you still need an actual pc/laptop
sometimes you need a keyboard

There's a difference between being able to do the thing and being the best tool for the job.

The phone's flash will drain the battery in 2 hours and a good flashlight can last days between charges if you end up really needing it. Just an example.
