Ugh ok husband has a habit of posting stupid political stuff on Facebook. I guess he pissed someone off recently because my employer got an email from someone who took it upon themselves to do a “report” on me, which just mentions anything my husband said or reacted to on Facebook. Basically she just disagrees with my husband’s opinions and did this to hurt him by hurting me or whatever.

Now there’s nothing bad my husband did in there but it’s still EMBARRASSING. This broad seriously CC’d everyone I work with since I’m guessing she got the info from the website.

What bothers me is how much she tried looking into my family and that she doxed me. Like I don’t want everyone I work with to know my address!

I’m not at risk of losing the job and really worst comes to worst we have the Etsy shop as a good source of revenue. But still is there anything I can do to get this crazy broad off my back? I told my husband to block her on FB already but it looks like she blocked him first. Ugh!

To be honest World is crazy right now , most of them getting hurt by seeing simple statement . Social Media is doing more harm then positive things.

Everyone is recording videos of simple incidents , everyone is in anger right now . I have seen people fighting for overtaking another car or honking to get pass .

Even if you say sorry they are ready to fight with you . Everyone is in Ego right now , if possible just say sorry to her and move on. I am 100% sure that you and your husband are correct on your moral grounds , you have freedom of speech but for that lady you might have hurted her Ego .

So best option block her and move on.

It's a crazy world we live in one shouldn't be surprised

That's the thing, I can't say sorry someone who never reached out to me directly. Just straight to my job with an email and I've never even talked to this person before.

Also, sorry for what? That my husband has different opinions than her? It would look like I'm apologizing on behalf of my husband, who I don't think is wrong, and I don't want her to think she can just bully people like this.

But yes I agree the world is crazy right now and it's clear everybody is so angry over every little thing.

I guess it came as a surprise to me because I've seen this happen to others but I never thought it would happen to me over something I never even did or said.

But I'm going to stand by my husband on this one but I think he needs to get off Fakebook.

That’s honestly creepy and way over the line. Disagreeing with someone politically doesn’t justify contacting their spouse’s employer or digging up personal information. I’d save screenshots, lock down your privacy settings, and keep records in case she keeps escalating.

That’s what I’ve done so far. My employer sent me a copy of the email but had to black out the email address and name so I’m not sure what good it can do.

Yep, that’s the only way forward. The world is too crazy these days for it to be worth posting our political opinions under our real names.

Tell him to make an anon account somewhere else if he really needs to post that stuff. Reddit or even Twitter would be better than Facebook.

Actually, you know what, tell him to make an account on OO and post that stuff here instead. At least no one here is going to try doxxing him (I hope 👀).

No follow up from this person but UGH I’m still embarrassed about the whole ordeal.

LMAO who emails someone work like this?

Tell them to fuck right off srsly.
