Our search impressions have gone up roughly 15,000 per day and gained an extra 0.2% on CTR but it's hard to judge if that's connected I would say its more to do with the amount of content we are pumping out to our hub more than anything.
I just meant can't you (as in anyone) track the effect accurately for loss or spike in traffic.
It's always going to be a 50-50 call, in terms of some will be featured by the AI and maybe CTR and traffic goes up. Others will be featured and see a decline in CTR and traffic.
Personally I think at the moment the way to combat it is to become featured BUT then offer a follow-through or a tool, give the user a reason to click. If they just want to know how many rolls are in a baker's dozen, and the AI give the user the answer 13 and its referring to your site why would the user need to click?
