I have restarted my Youtube channels( old, 0 subs, 0 vids), trying to get back my Silver play button with new channels.

I purchased 1 monetized channels.

Channel 1 ( monetized)
Chosen niche has high CPM but reach is low! Due to different demography and niche. So need to upload for at least a month before the videos will be pushed ( hopefully).
5 long form videos, 10 shorts. 7 views total..

Channels 2 ( not monetized)

This channel has a niche with a CPM of $10, age group is 50+.
Needs longer videos to actually earn good, low effort, but monetization will be hard due to the low effort story telling style of the channel.
This channel has 4 videos currently, best video gained 16 views (578 impressions), most views come from suggested.

Channel 3 ( not monetized)
This channel is a mix of real life and stock, related to the unique city I live in.
CPM should be around $8, but can move up to $20. Highly seasonal for the most part.

Have you set your set a time frame for getting the silver play button? Or you just going to take it slow and steady and see what happens?

Best of luck

Based on other channels in the same niche, channel 1 and 3 can get it in 6 months.

Channel 2 will never get 100k subs.

But the overall goal is to keep adding more channels, growing horizontal instead of vertical.

So your horizontal growth is to create or acquire? new channels in difference niches? ... nice

Assuming then business model is to have X channels that all generate Y income per month that builds to the Z pot turnover of the main business?

Only problem you have really is you have a bit of vertical on each channel you buy or create as they need videos created. Which is where things get a little bit sticky later on.

I will create the channels since I want to get the audience in the correct niche from the start instead of restarting at 1k subscribers.

Video creation will be quite difficult to handle for multiple channels especially if you consider daily uploads or every other day.

But at that point I can just outsource editing to a content creator. While providing voice overs myself.

@Octavia

Have you looked into Ansoff Matrix?

It's along the same thinking as vertical and horizontal growth.

However it might be worth you doing a dive into the 2nd box which is Market Development it's often considered the "medium" risk box.

What about with growth if you have a channel that is working is to maybe re-use that video and then dub it to target the same audience but for a new language. So part of the model build becomes "Translate or subtitle videos for new languages" this way you have content that you know works but you could create a specific Spanish version?

This would help you also then transition that to shorts for social and so on?

Just a thought :)
