I created a thread in The Saloon but noticed an issue. Even after posting, my old post content is still saved as a draft. It looks like the exact same text is being retained. Has anyone else experienced this?

That's strange. I haven't seen that myself after creating a thread, but I'll keep an eye for it if does happen to me.

If anyone else is experiencing this issue, feel free to share it here.

I posted a thread earlier Today,

I just checked to make sure, whether content still saved after posting..

See, here's what it looks like :)

That's strange - my experience were using from mobile device..

Maybe refreshing the page or clear the content is a Simple Solution.. :)
Same issue
I am using Safari, Will test this in Chrome as well.

By the way, can anyone else test in safari?

I use and update this forum from my mobile Safari and haven’t noticed any issues.

If you or anyone else sees anything on the desktop Safari, let me know.

I noticed this issue.. Have posted a thread earlier Today,

When I tried to post New Thread, and noticed op stated issue in mobile device, which I took (SS) for reference,

I refreshed the page & getting the same issue ..

Quick Solution : Clear manually and post new thread.

Okay, so I made some adjustments that means that these drafts are only saved in the forum's system for an hour instead of 24 hours.

I also made it so drafts are automatically saved every 10 minutes instead of every minute. This is so that's not saving content for threads written up quickly, but if you've been spending 10 minutes or more on it and accidentally leave the page, you can see a draft of your content.

Let me know if that at least helps the issue, but I'll mark this as resolved for now.
