I kinda like it actually. Especially since others can distinguish between merged posts to regular ones (merged posts always show 'edited on' unlike edited posts that doesn't show that)

I'm not sure when that got disabled, but I re-enabled it right now.

@INCC, this is a feature that was added in back in May through this suggestions board.

Implemented - Auto Merging Double Post

Hey guys, We all know how problematic double posting can be, especially for newer members who aren’t fully familiar with the forum yet. They often don’t edit their posts within the allowed timeframe or want to add something after the editing window closes, which results in double or even triple...

The time was adjusted to 15 minutes between back-to-back posts after this suggestions thread: https://officeoutlaw.com/threads/post-merge-is-a-bastard.1687/

If anyone thinks it should be adjusted, just let me know and I can do so.

I like it, now I don't have to think how to edit my post if I want to add something a moment later, it auto-merges it.

It's true that it merges a bit too fast when I want to add more than one meme to our politically incorrect memes thread, maybe adjusting the timing is the solution...

The edit banner seems to be working well for these situations.

I've went ahead and adjusted the timer from 15 minutes to 10 minutes.

The color should be the one used for links and then it would work. Even on the UGGHH theme.
