I know those note-taking pad are ridiculously overpriced but I know someone here who got a Mudita phone they showed me earlier today -

And I have to say, they do look really trendy. I did a bit of research, turns out even eInk computer monitors exist! Currently debating whether of not to invest in one or two of these:

The old tech was too dim and that’s why Amazon switched to that Kindle Fire tablet kinda screen. If they found a way to brighten it and make it more natural at the same time like an illuminate book page then I’d say yeah it can take off. But people want their really bright screens so idk.

I'm seriously looking into getting an ebook reader, never used a dedicated one, currently I read books on old phone (Maemo) that has display that is less tiring than newer phones but I think it might be unusable soon since power button acts weird, etc. I wonder if all of these dedicated ebook readers are e-ink or not and how does this work lol... Could use something that is less tiring on the eyes.

Yes! I would love it if my phone had this!

It’s 2025 and I’ve never even seen this in person soldier.

That should tell you everything about where this tech is headed.
