It's no secret that the negativity caused me to leave for a while there.

But I know I was being rash myself and the ban request was on the dramatic side.

I think you're right that it would help if the moderators stepped in more often but not in that laying down the law way you get on Reddit.

My word choice there wasn’t the best when I said mods should step in more often so that’s not at all what I was suggesting but I completely agree.

Jokes aside, mods can comment when things are about to explode. It's usually pretty easy to tell.
Not lock the thread because this will just explode somewhere else, but silence members for an hour or two to cool off isn't a bad idea if someone stepped over the line.

I don't think mods should be on the hunt for these scenarios but if something get reported it's definitely a tool that should be utilized. Most of you guys know what I'm talking about.

And a hug, of course. A sugar-free lollipop is also acceptable.

I agree with the OP and the first page.

The second page makes me wonder if I missed some drama or if ironic sarcasm in a thread about positivity is going over my head.

Anyway, it's a nice thought, Z, and a welcoming atmosphere is good for growth.

I hope to switch niches and contribute more soon. My stupid slave job is zapping my energy right now, but that's my motivation to build something better.
