I'm in the UK and do my own taxes as a sole trader (I also have a 9-5 job). As @t2van said, it's a straightforward process.
My expenses are that low that I'll choose the trading allowance instead (even with claiming some expenses, it's still better to claim the trading allowance).
However...
I've got mixed feelings about this; I was ready to upgrade to a new gaming laptop due to the updates ending and was looking forward to it.
Now that they've extended it for another year, ideally it'll mean the memory prices will drop before I upgrade next year.
A great list as always, @t0mmy
A bit of a risky technique for EEAT purposes; have a second opinion paragraph or two on some (not all) of your pages.
Now, it can be a bit tricky getting people in your niche to agree to add a second opinion onto your page.
The workaround for this is to write...
Ah the old SAPE days were great; back when it was still a kind of wild west. The excitement of seeing a page jump up umpteen spots in a few days was real, and a great money spinner too
Bodybuilding.com was a great forum.
18 years ago I was part of a Jedi Academy clan and the forum for that was great. I spent a good chunk of the summer out on the balcony playing that game online; good times.
The NGamer forums that accompanied NGamer magazine was great as well.
This week, it's writing more articles for my site. I normally get into work quite early in the morning; a combination of wanting to beat the rush hour, and also waking up far too early.
Those spare two hours in the morning have been great at allowing me to tweak my content and write brand new...
The selective part is where I think newbies will get scammed. To be fair, BigBuddy scammed so many people and he was a mod.
Damn though, the YT service he has was dynamite. I had quite a few great nights out with the money I had made from his service. Back when I was younger and buying a bottle...
Bloody hell, I've not been on here for a while, but this thread sure was something!
I'd agree that BHW has definitely slipped in recent years; views are way down and the same guff being resold in different BSTs is infuriating
I do love a t0mmy guide!
Couldn't agree more with this. EEAT really is impacting the rankings. For a new site that I started back in May and admittedly done bugger all with until recently, showcasing EEAT is helping it rise up in the rankings.
Time and again I have seen sites push out some...
I've done a similar thing in the past and got a nice bump in traffic for it. The accounts I used are long gone now, though.
Not sure if it's massive balls, but when I was relatively new to a different site (2011), I did sell my ewhoring script via DM.
The script was to sign up for dating...
I've been looking for a similar setup, whereby I'll write the post, but then have an "expert" give their opinion in a paragraph or two.
Thanks @t2van for sharing that. I think it would work in the opposite direction as well by getting quoted on other sites, and then adding links to those...
Yeah I've found the Ahrefs KW volume to be wildly off the mark.
I haven't tried their AI checker, but there's a few free ones online and they all said that my content was mainly AI. I guess I'm a robot, too.
I probably shouldn't tick that box the next time I get the prompt...
I agree though...
I think it's still the case that we need to conform, but do it better to get ahead in the game.
A new site that I've created has somewhat emulated an original site, but expanded on it in such a way that it's a lot better. But it's still by and large covering the same content.
