Following a new $65 billion investment, Claude developer Anthropic is valued at nearly $965 billion post-money. According to an announcement, the latest funding is expected to advance the developer’s security research, as well as expand computing power to “meet increased demand for Claude.”
None of the largest independent AI developers are profitable yet, but Anthropic could be an exception. The company expects to make a profit of around $559 million in the second quarter of this year (April–June). The majority of Anthropic's revenue comes from enterprise customers.
