Anyone ever tried doing gigs on nextdoor?

Anyone ever tried offering to do gigs on that app? I heard it was good money.

I thought about it. I live in a place with a lot of wealthy older people, but by the time someone asks for a recommendation, you've already got 30 other people recommending their friends and family to them to do the work.

I guess it would feel a bit odd to come in and recommend myself.
