💿Hosting Anyone successfully gotten discounts for existing customers from their web host?

I saw someone suggest that you can contact a web host you've been with for a while and request to see if there are any customer retention discounts.

Has anyone here tried this and had any success with it? I'm considering doing this myself, but I don't want a flag or note or something to get added to my account. Maybe that's just my anxiety but I've been on platforms where that's happened to me so there's that.

Yeah, people do it all the time. Just asking about promos or loyalty discounts is normal and won’t negatively affect your account.

I never heared about a company that doesn't like referrals. Not even once.
