Anyone used weight loss injection Ozempic or Mounjaro

These were usually use in patients with diabetes. However just like how they bumped into viagra accidentally while trying to invent a heart medicine. They are now doing this for non-diabiatic patients to reduce weight.

They say it takes ideally 16-18 months to reduce 25-30 kgs. Costs roughly 120-140 USD per injection. So over the 18 months the bill will run to around 3500 USD - 5000 USD for the total period.

Has anyone tried or know any one who tried it?

Looks very interesting. But am worried about the actual side-effects in the long-term

Nah... You don't learn self control there are 1000s of people on it around me. One warehouse worker and he comes off and puts weight back on in months.

He's on it for life. It's a short cut. He has zero self control...

Theres others in my local watering hole that can't cope without it. It's a new drug. It's the crack for fat people.

Just have will power. The jab is for lazy of you ask me.

Fast or carnivore diet learn self control.

It's not always about the old school eat less and exercise. I think that's a myth really works for some and not all.

I can lose weight and get small but my natural size makes me look odd so I focus on the weight lifting to suit my natural frame.

I'm large because of that but that's fine.

I fast. I eat clean nothing processed. I can outlift and out run most people but if you go off bullshit bmi Im obesse!

I am not a heavy eater honestly.

I reduced weight natural back in 2017. I was super fit. I went cycling 1-2 hours everyday even during slight rains or i did some workout if I had to be indoors because of the weather. I was super disciplined. Woke at 5 AM and I was in my first retail store at 8 AM and then go home for lunch and head to the other one. Did work until 8 PM. Sleep at 9:30 PM then again wake up. I was super fit and happy. Cyclathon etc.

COVID lockdown came. Started experimenting with online things and found success within a few months, decided to handover the offline business to my brother. With online work it was just most indoors. Lazy to step out. But I keep working, order in late. I actually stopped coke/pepsi for many years. I now consume coke/Pepsi almost 300 ML per day

Slowly i started to increase weight. Am now at 90 KGs from 65 KGs.

Now when I look back at myself it sort of triggers me be to a lazy fat pig and also an experience humbling because I used to be judgmental those day especially to those who couldn't take care of their weight and health.

I have a mini gym at my office. I have already stepup an indoor cycle, treadmill and an elliptical and a shower on the top floor. Plan on adding a 2 seater sauna in the bath area in a couple months. I plan to start doing these religiously. The weather isn't good outside plus too much of pollution so I don't plan on outdoor cycling.

So i thought i give myself a small headstart and then start my indoor workout regime. Also play tennis on Quest 3.

I was thinking I start 1-2 months medical course with a jab along with a workout. Then go with the flow. But i keep reading about these meds being a permanent thing which is worrisome.

My aim is to drop 25 kgs in 16-24 months. All i need to do is start kicking my butt to man up and get back to the workout routine

As I've gotten older I get up earlier and earlier I wake about 3-4am and have an hour becuase it's the only time I actually get to myself. No family no work. Just me.

I then run and hit gym at 5 till 545 then shower and 6 I get going for work..
Some times it's earlier sometimes it's later.

Depends when I go to bed to be honest.

What's honestly stopping you now?

You got the gym. 25kg in 16-24 months is doable with a good diet and exercise.

Some of that will be replaced with muscle.

On a carnivore you could do 26kg in 9month I think jabs would be less. It just stops you eating.

Doesn't change your relationship with food etc.

I think you just need to start.

What's that saying 2 weeks for people to notice 3 weeks for you to feel a difference.

It takes 3 weeks to build a habit and 1 day to break it.

I think start and sooner you do better you will be.

I have a friend that used Ozempic, in his case it was a matter of going the easy way .. he went from 130KG to around 85-90KG with it and seems to stay at that point now.

Loosing weight fast without training is going to give you a lot of extra skin hanging around .. so if you got the will, start training instead and eat healthy normal portions instead, like veggies for lunch if you are doing dinner later.
