'Before:' and 'after:' Google operators

Guys,
Even though these operators are still in BETA and Google often struggles to detect when a specific article or PDF was published, did you know you can use the before: and after: operators to search for content published within (before and after) a specific time frame?

I was reading the other day how Google say not to keep updating content to then reindex it just for the sake, but best to only do this if you're actually adding value / genuine new updates.

If I can find the paper, I'll link to it.
