SEMRush won against Ahrefs every time I tested them head to head.
For some reason Ahrefs has this unjust aura that SEOers are drawn to. I have no idea why..
None of them made the test, I guarantee it.Some people have asserted that the Ahrefs Backlink data specifically is more elaborate and up to date. I have not verified that myself so I can’t agree or disagree personally.
Very true I knew when they did the bigger price increase I think it was 2 years ago a load of SEO cancelled their agency accounts I imagine Ahrefs may lost million or so plus some moved onto Serpstat which some still prefer over Ahrefs I joined a call in the past with some other SEO to talk to Tim about it had no clue or had any idea how to answer the questions so most left the call then cancelled from that call alone lost $20,000 per monthI prefer Semrush to Ahrefs. The credit structure on Ahrefs was stupid and I know SEO guys who were running up crazy high surcharges.
Such a great clientIt was the number 1 until they stopped accepting my Revolut virtual cards, now I can't abuse their free trial system
What would you consider the best, and why? It's one of the best tools, compared to the cost and performance it's really best tool. But it's really needs to go for long distance to reach the number one place.
What specific areas did SEMrush outperform Ahrefs in when you tested them head-to-head? Was it keyword data, backlink analysis, site audits, or something else? Always looking to understand these comparisons better.SEMRush won against Ahrefs every time I tested them head to head.
