I wanted to run this by the other members here because I wasn't sure if it was entirely appropriate to add in.
On the other forum, I remembered there being a demand for people who had the donor and VIP memberships to be able to switch to a pink username instead of the blue one.
Now, our Patron membership didn't have a username colour until this suggestion thread got 7 upvotes. https://officeoutlaw.com/threads/pink-username-color-for-patron.3410/
After I saw this suggestion thread, I thought about the switchable username colour request from before, so I was looking into seeing if this were feasible.
The idea I came up with was a Karma-purchasable pink username available to those who have both Patron and Sapphire.
This can be done, but where I hesitate and why I say I don't think it's entirely appropriate is because we've been trying to keep a separation between Karma purchases and monetary purchases. In this case, I'm not sure about requiring monetary memberships in order for members to unlock a karma upgrade.
I considered other possibilities, but they seemed unfair.

- Requiring only Patron is pointless; the username is already pink.
- Not requiring Patron isn't fair to those who purchased Patron.
