Now you can pick up a "Cow" too when you get the milk at the shopping store.

Select grocery stores in Finland utilize pink shopping baskets, known locally as a sinkkukori (single's basket), to signal that a shopper is single and open to being approached.

The Rules: The unwritten social contract is that it only works if both shoppers are carrying the pink basket. If you are carrying a standard grey or black basket, you are not supposed to approach someone with a pink one.

So, who is booking a flight to Finland and Santa?

Huh. I guess I don’t have any thoughts on that other than to see how it works out.

I've seen this in other countries as well. It's a funny idea, and I'm all for it. But I do wonder which dude would deliberately pick a pink basket.

Cow... Wha... What? You're disgusting.

The idea is pretty cool though, you can basically choose if you don't want to be approached as well. I think it's good, just like these dudes on events signaling they're single and what they are looking for (ie during presentations one was looking for a wife, another advertised he uses contraception lol). I'm not a big fan of random dudes approaching only because you're a woman. There should be some ways to openly signal that you want or don't want to be approached and what you're looking for + some sort of social status check and not broke dudes approaching middle and upper class women and no ugly dudes approaching beautiful women unless they actually want that. It's not a numbers game.
