I mean these kinds of highlights:
Browsing around Office Outlaw, you've likely seen some posts in threads that have this highlight feature.
This highlight feature can be used on posts or threads.
Thread highlights are typically only applied to threads that are featured in the newsletter. However, if enough members either submit a support ticket or send in a report requesting for a thread to be highlighted, our moderators may highlight the thread at their discretion.
Post highlights are applied to posts by administrators and moderators for one or more of the following reasons:
- The content was well-thought-out and detailed.
- The content has a high reaction score to relative to other posts in the thread.
- The content answers a question that the thread started was asking.
If you're a member and you want to recommend that a post or thread is highlighted, simply use the report button or go to the support desk and select the subcategory "Recommend a Highlight" under "Content".
