Health Ok so I bought this natural ADD / concentration supplement from iHerb

How is that natural medicine? It's separated component. Try full herbs, ayurveda or tcm. Fuck, I went to google to check what that thing is... Something extracted from green tea? Bro just make yourself some tea if you like, oral health benefits as a bonus as well, don't buy separated stuff like this. Green tea sounds weak for improving brain function lol, I mean it's healthy to drink the whole thing, but for extra results try something like brahmi, don't drink it daily/permanently though because you'll fry your brain. Good to keep that in your medicine cabinet for emergencies because it's known to help repair your brain if you hit your head for example. It's a bit too strong for me though and also it's cooling herb so watch out if you already have a cold or some other disease that doesn't benefit from you suddenly getting chilly. I haven't took it in years but it definitely works.
I didn't do any research. Someone I know recommended it so I gave it a shot.

This is the first supplement I ever bought except for Omega3 pulls my mom bought me 20+ years ago and Vitamin C.

I can't stress how bullshit I think all of these natural stuff are. As far as I know, if it worked no one needed actual medicine, so..

I'll give this mushroom a shot because it looks cool and I wanted to taste it anyways.

Sucks that it didn't work. All of the best literature seems to indicate it only works to any extent in conjunction with caffeine. Which is then basically just tea which contains both naturally anyway.

Only herbal based stimulants I have seen that worked for sustained energy, a little more powerful than tea and without any crash or side effects like coffee were caffeine in the form of Yerba Mate and Korean Ginseng.

Synthetic alternatives, I would list B-Vitamins. I know someone who's opinion I trust swear by a supplement called MitoQ for energy and focus. I haven't tried it personally though.

All of the stuff you listed is very weak stuff 😂. Maybe vit C is ok, I sometimes take for a cold but tbh I prefer sri lankan Paspanguwan. Honestly your supplement choices are not that smart, I wouldn't buy any of it. I don't think these things work, yes.

What about psychedelic mushrooms and not only? Don't tell me these aren't healing. ;)

There's some pretty interesting advice across this entire thread.

We'll be featuring this in the Sharpest Shots of the Quarter segment of our upcoming newsletter.

Just FYI - Omega 3 in combination with D vitamin (because it binds to fat, so taking just a D vitamin without any fat or fatty food is suboptimal) are a must during winter months. Both with a long proven track record.

Lack of D (pun intended), can really make, for example, the depression symptoms much worse.

Everyone should DYOR on Pregabalin

"if you can't help it, put it down" isn't something that should go alongside something that genuinely ruins lives

we call them buds here because in the prisons one or two of them are like a budweiser

and they obliterate families and communities

We used to give it to our cat to alleviate the pressure as the poor guy has a massive tumour in the center of his brain. That alone tells me it's not exactly an everyday supplement.

don't get me wrong, its a medication for a reason, it probably saved my dads life a number of times with its use cases

but that's in the most minimal doses I've ever come across

the sh*t is everywhere, like vallies or xans without getting Zwie's site flagged

but I agree with you Nargil dude

What do you mean exactly by ruining lives?

This is nowhere as dangerous as xans. At least not in general population.

Abuse is abuse. Medication is medication.

This abuse of lyrica usually happens with other substances mixed, so it's usually not exactly lyrica's fault someone dies or ruins their life.

You can read horror stories about caffeine too. :D

Main problem with separating like this... If you get *really* naturally ie through foods (or in case of vit D just go outside eh) + for extra health needs you take complete herbs that's a totally different level of quality and effectiveness.

Of course it depends, I'm not saying I never use more 'modern' things, I literally came back from KL with vit C serum for my pigmentation problems 😂. That's topical though. Let's see if that works or I go natural remedies route or if I'll just get pissed and get it lasered off eventually lol.
