FAQ Posting In The Correct Section & Other Questions Answered

Don't worry, this isn't some harp-on-you thread where I tell you that you absolutely need to post in the correct section or face the consequences. This isn't that kind of place.

Okay, before we begin, if you're still unfamiliar with the forum, then you can find a list of section here.

Thanks to our broad categorisation, it's fairly easy to know which section your thread should go in. However, I've been asked questions before about knowing which

Thread Posting FAQ​

1. Are there notices (warnings) for posting in the incorrect section?
No.

2. Let's say I have a thread that's a bit silly about Facebook. Should I post it in The Saloon?
No, that thread would go in the Social Media section. As long as the thread is topically relevant to the section, you can post it there.

In other word, don't feel like you have to post in The Saloon. If it's ever in the wrong section, a moderator will just simply move it for you.

3. If I want to make a public thread private (or vice versa), how do I get it moved?
Just report your own thread and ask for this to be done. Alternatively, you can use our built-in support desk.
