Weekly Newsletter - The best posts / Guides / helpful posts will be added .. that's a Reward actually..

There are 4 weeks in a Month..

What kind of rewards / ideas you are talking about or anything in mind?

I understand what you mean, but you are already receiving "rewards" in form of Karma if your thread is gaining traction in the forum: https://officeoutlaw.com/threads/karma-system-on-office-outlaw.708/

As others have already stated, the best threads will also be included in the newsletter and other forms of publication (Our social media profiles). As the forum grows, we may add other rewards to this. Feel free to share what kind of rewards you had in mind.

Well, giving members some kind of a reward each month or each 3 months, for example, Sapphire Member status or something... So most helpful members for the community to get sapphire status. Community should vote for them, for example...

Aside from viewing content between the "charge" code tag, karma can also be spent on cosmetics on the Upgrades page.

Currently, we only have the "Hot Rod" badge, which costs $10 (1000 karma). Note that whilst a dollar amount is displayed, you can currently only purchase this with karma. Yeah, I know, annoying, but we can't change that yet.

I like the idea of running competitions for the best threads in a certain amount of time. Things like free upgrades or even free merch can be considered. It's something that we already had in mind here: https://officeoutlaw.com/threads/future-plans-for-office-outlaw.825/

Yeah, karma is good. i know it's still in development, but I would like to get a lot of things to exchange for karma...

More good, helpful posts, the more members will come. Like before, on some forum where the community was helpful and there were many guides, now it's just full of ads...

I don't need any rewards; I just want more guides and helpful things, as I believe this will make it easier for people to share them if they get something small reward in a return.

I want this community to grow and to everyone help each other.

Yeah, I think there's already trophies and newsletter. When forum gets bigger your best reward will be purchasing sapphire for yourself and earning regular income from clients as a seller here. That's kinda the point, we're all starting this forum out to have a high quality platform to sell on, learn and network.

We have plans to do giveaways and other stuff at some point to give back to the community. However, we've already got a lot in place in terms of rewards for members.

• Founding & OG Members get a 50% discount on memberships and have lifetime access to the Sapphire section.
• Top threads and posts get featured in the newsletter, which provide you with even more exposure
• We have the karma and trophy systems to add a bit of fun as a reward. You can even spend karma on a cosmetic badge, and we'll be adding in more purchasable options soon.

This forum was built in November 2024 as that's when we started this project, but it's only actually been active for a bit over a month now. I promise we'll do more to give back to the community over time as there's much I've always wanted to do in that regard.

Anyway, this is already a thing albeit not a monthly reward, so I'm marking this as "answered".

Some members pointed out early on that it's too open to abuse. I thought about limiting it to The Saloon, but it's actually disabled right now as of about 30 minutes ago.

I just realised I never posted the changelog for April 29th announcing that, so I'll do that now.

I think you'll still see it in existing threads that used the tag, but using it in new posts and threads won't work.

We already get small rewards for posting and getting likes quite a lot. I've barely been on here and already have a star.

There's probably some stuff the admins can do for the community, but that should probably come later on when there are more people here.
