I agree with everything you've said dude, but, man did he dig into stupid stuff that's nearly likely to help nobody...
In a country full of guns with the mental state of the rest of us, battling stuff people genuinely believe in,

Plus if anyone can own a gun then a mentally disturbed person can just shoot someone when they are triggered or if they don't agree with someone
No one should become a target of such violence, but he had too extreme standpoints about things that are usually full of hatred and prone to violence. He must have known someone eventually will try to commit this.

This was no mentally deranged person. That was a serious shot - a professional, straight sniper precision - someone/something wanted to make sure he was done properly right in the jugular. Makes you wonder eh… they couldn’t hit the orange faced man with his huge head which basically makes for a perfect target, but they could hit this Charlie guy in one of the most precise spots

Nothing political in my post - straight facts and my opinion on how he should be remembered, I ain’t going to sugar coat my opinion or cry any crocodile tears for this man… he lived by the sword and died by the sword, he’s eating every word he spoke about being pro gun now isn’t he.

Guns don't kill people. People do.
Having access to a gun is no different to having access to a knife or a car.
Theres been plenty of stabbings and hit and runs. Is the solution to take that away from people?
Sure you can argue it makes it easier to cause harm but so does anything else. If somone is determined to hurt them self or someone else having a gun or not won't matter.
More checks could be in place, maybe even checkups or course requirements and so on. But it still don't change the fact it's down to the person.
UK and Europe plenty of people been mowed down or stabbed. But I still own a car and drive no ones calling that to be removed.
His topic timing and him being shot was ironic at best.
Regardless it's sad. He's shot because somone disagreed with him.
Oh don’t get me wrong… I’m pro gun too, love hitting the shooting range here in Thailand… the Glock 9mm is my favourite, I’ve become quite decent at my shooting now although it’s in my blood I tell my friends here. I wish they were as easily accessible in Ireland as the states actually. It was more the irony I was getting at.
Thing is though - why does anyone give a fuck, unless they know him personally as a friend? Personally I care more about the babies being slaughtered daily of which he agreed with. Thousands killed weekly and barely anyone bats an eyelid, rhetoric like this man spewed and believed in are a major part in that. So yeah, I won’t have any trouble sleeping tonight… no major loss to the world.
