Howdy fellow outlaws!

As you all know, we're getting a newsletter going on Office Outlaw.

One thing I've always wanted to do is get more people from the community involved in the newsletter. I have a few ideas for that, like having a member be a guest author every now and then, but for now, I wanted to start that off by asking others for any suggestions on threads or replies in threads they'd like to see each week.

There are 10 threads and 10 replies that are going to be featured in the newsletter each week. For this first newsletter, I've already picked all of the threads I could. However, I am still looking for 10 replies.

Here's what I usually look for in regards to threads and replies.
  • Threads: any helpful, funny, or informative threads posted around the forum.
  • Replies: something like a member helping another member, or someone providing a detailed response.
Something else to keep in mind is that each person is only meant to be featured once per newsletter. It's just to give as many people a chance to be featured in it.

Here are some replies:

Every now and then.
When we have cool suggestions/feedback.
We can always stick it in the newsletter (around the top) so it doesn't get blurred into the content.

Enforce that the Forum is user-centered and users feedback matter.
For example, as of right now
Where to put Partnership/JV

Get user engagement incase they missed it.
& It also lets them know, this place is feedback friendly.
You're not getting a black dot to your name if you keep pushing feedback cough @INCC

That is a fantastic idea, @Rem. It would especially help for threads like the one you linked to, because we’re all still trying to figure out if JVs are a Trading Post thing or a General thing.

By the way, check out the poll: 50% feel it’s a Trading Post section, 25% feel like it’s General, and 25% said “Other”.
