I've been thinking and watching a few videos about cold calling.
To me
Cold calling seems like it would be the ultimate cold approach.
You could probably use cold DMS and email to then when you call be like yo did you get my emails and texts.
Anyone do cold calling here?
I think if you master cold calling you'd already be light years ahead of people who rely on solely cold DMS or email though.
Probably best to use all though.
PS: I believe if you truly believe in your product or service cold calling should be easier to deal with.
PPS: Yes I'm thinking more along the lines of b2b but if you have your customers permission then b2c is entirely on the table.
Imo Cold calling is essential even if you are a business owner with sales people under you.
As only then you understand the pulse of the market and the niche plays a vital role.
I used to be in landscaping, and premium indoor plants as return gifts business to big corporations and government agencies. Mostly it was cold calling, meeting them in person and then in a few months i usually get a call from the purchase department asking to submit a bid/quote.
Also if your niche has trade fairs attend those too. Meeting people in person can be helpful again and the amount of leads you could generate is amazing.
Plus the high I get while closing a lead after months(some times years) of follow-up is something that I would die for lol. The rush is amazing.
But if you asked me now, I would prefer sitting and closing leads with the least amount of interaction, or physical meetings. Probably gotten comfortable after COVID lockdown.
Dude, dress up in a suit and pickup the phone, everyone should try a couple of hundreds of calls as a part of learning.I've never done cold calling before but all this talk of "cold" is starting to give me more chills
I see only potential wins.Dude, dress up in a suit and pickup the phone, everyone should try a couple of hundreds of calls as a part of learning.
