Hey everyone!

I wanted to get a quick pulse from the community when it comes to SEO, we all have our strengths and struggles. So I thought it’d be fun (and maybe helpful) to see which area most of us find the trickiest.

Take a second to vote below!

Which SEO area do you find the most challenging?

* Backlinks

* Technical SEO

* Content Optimization

* Local SEO

* Keyword Research

Feel free to drop a comment too if you’ve got tips or stories to share. Let’s learn from each other and level up together!

Let me know if you want to add humor or make it more serious!

Backlinks probably for me.

Foe the others you do have enough tools. Using semrush you can check what backlinks your competitors has but it is still a pain to get those links for your site as well.

Appreciate your thoughts on this! It’s definitely a tough part of SEO. Let’s see how others feel and if anyone has tips or experiences to share on cracking that backlink challenge.

I think backlinks are easy they come with the content so the more you can reach and create something thats worth reading and sharing the easier links come from that.

When looking at competitors more are becoming media based so I switch over to something like

Code:
https://www.qwoted.com

Or over on X search up

Code:
#prrequest #prrequests #journorequest #journorequests

I've been featured on The Times, Guardian from both uses as well as more niche relevant sites using X is a bit random and I find checking around 10am, 1pm GMT the better time for posts for topics that fit my niche. Its always hit and miss. If you want seasonal links though its very much worth the effort!!

Most of these will want a product, article or an opinion they link back with. All comes back to content really in my opinion but thats where we heavily invest. Nothing is a rush, slow and steady wins.

So if I read it correctly you use socials to initially push an article and do not worry about backlinks since they will come organically, through social efforts?

Building high quality backlinks for cheap.

I use social to go find media connections and blogs that want products to review or an article created. Any links I do want I only go after those from print media / news or related topics. That's it.

We share what we create on social and to a point (sometimes) we do get links or requests to share something from within it.

I've never really gone out and actively pushed for links or asked for them, I just started focusing on content and things that where so broad it just helped get the brand picked up from there - its a hard grind and not worth it for everyone.
