Who else left Discord?

Maybe people will start joining forums again? For real they might make a comeback!

I did. The ID verification didn't impact me but it's just a step in the wrong direction. A really wrong direction.

Discord was never a great alternative to older messengers like Skype. I really wish Skype would make a comeback because that’s probably where I spent most of my time (along with IRC). But I wouldn’t mind forums making a comeback either. At least that would help us.

Everyone is doing it. Xbox does it, need to verify your ID to continue to use the services. It's all shit.

The only reason for it is DATA; it's one of the last hurdles, everyone was stupid enough to allow phone to use your face to unlock and other companies are missing out on that jucy bit of data. It's NEVER for your safety.

5 years this will be the norm for everything.
