Can't decide to go live edge or a normal desk type worktop...
That's my biggest thing at the moment.
My current desk is live edge just taken the bark off it and sanded it all back I'll cut the top to fit in the space I need to clean my keyboard before I can take a photo as its gross lolI'd do normal for a couple of reasons:
1. The shape will be more optimized for the room. Most likely.
2. Easier to treat.
3. Won't cut your shirt if you sit against it.
Looks less nice, but a lot more practical as a work desk, I think.
That being said, I wouldn't want it to sound like I speak from experience. My experience with woodworking is limited to making a few guitar picks, and they all sucked.
