Things had been getting awkward at work so I decided to take the plunge and propose to my boss. The worst she could say is no.

She said YES! Your boy is engaged now!

But she told me something that I suspected about the breakup and how she was acting. Basically the CEO is a nut job. He was acting all cool and friendly but the whole time he was telling her stuff about how I'm just using her for a raise and how the job is her real family? Really weird stuff.

She liked that I was bold enough to propose and it made her feel bad enough to tell me what had been going on.

All I've gotta say is that I KNEW something was wrong with that CEO. I thought I was going crazy but no.

But look I've been looking for jobs and I managed to find one that pays less so I just quit this other place and start that one next week.

I'm going to leave a review on glassdoor about this psychopath CEO and his shitty company. No wonder the place has a huge turnover rate.
