I have fat-fingered before but this is crazy.

    Unintentional obviously.
    Found the article

    A presumed panic-induced error

The transaction has signs of a panic-induced error, with the user sending a subsequent transaction fast to prevent the original transaction from being included in a block and becoming final. Jain suggested some potential explanations:

“Maybe he meant to use 30.5692 sat but, due to haste or butter fingers, ended up using 305,692 sat.“
The second RBF transaction also added an additional input unspent transaction output (UTXO). This UTXO contained nearly 0.75 Bitcoin (BTC). The change was mistakenly included as part of the fee, likely because the user failed to update the change address or misjudged the transaction’s structure.

Another possibility raised by Jain is that the user got confused between a fee in absolute terms and one set in satoshi per virtual byte (transaction size) or that the automated script behind the transaction contained a bug. The wallet could allow setting a fee in satoshis, which could lead to a scenario where the fee is set way too low, a warning about the low fee and an overcorrection:

“System reads it as 30 sats total fee, which is way too low, so user types 305000 thinking it means 30.5 sat/vB, and the wallet actually applies 305,000 sats/vB, which is insane.“

Soph and I are going to Dublin in June, just overnight. It's been too long since I was in Ireland.

Then we are Vegas bound as we are getting married, after 15 years together, before doing a road trip down the west coast, including San Fransisco, LA and Hermosa Beach.

Number 3 is we're going to hop across to Morocco for a few days later on this year. Living in Spain it's a short trip by plane or even a ferry and take the car.

We have been fortunate enough to travel extensively over the years, mainly long haul. There's not a lot on our bucket list regarding travel, maybe a safari in South Africa.

I went back to the UK last month for a few days, to attend a wedding and catch up with some old buddies from school. My first return to the UK in over 3 years.

Personally, I haven’t used any of these in years, but before AI, these subreddits were the go-to places for affordable labor. Even now, there are still tons of daily posts with potential job opportunities.
    • r/forhire – Post your services or browse job listings. One of Reddit’s oldest job boards for freelancers and contractors. Some redditors are skilled professionals, some redditors need skilled professionals. Scroll down for general information and our rules. Please read through these carefully, as breaking them can be a bannable offense.
    • r/hiring – Employers post jobs, and candidates can respond. Skews more tech/startup. Post jobs you're hiring for. Add a tag of [HIRING] or [FOR HIRE], add in location, add in salary, and write out the description fully. See community rules for full guidelines.
    • r/jobbit – jobbit: jobs for redditors, emphasis on programming, post a job/gig or your resume/CV
    • r/slavelabour – /r/slavelabour is a place to find casual online work and get jobs done well below market rate. PayPal and Amazon gift cards are the most widely accepted payment methods, cryptocurrencies (BTC, ETH, LTC, etc.) can also be used.
    • r/workonline – A place to talk about making an income online. This includes random jobs, online employers, sites that pay you and ways to monetize websites. These are sites and strategies that will yield the user minimum wage or better and allow them to provide for themselves.
    • r/webdevjobs – Jobs and gigs for front-end, back-end, and full-stack developers.
    • r/beermoney – Small online tasks, surveys, cash-back apps, etc. For side hustle-style income.

Most users that use Reddit know that they can look up their Contributor Quality Score in subreddits like https://www.reddit.com/r/WhatIsMyCQS/. However those subreddits are being monitored by Moderators, Admins or/and karma farmers.
If you want to do it privately create your own subreddit and put this code in automoderator which can be access through https://www.reddit.com/r/YOUR_SUBREDDIT/wiki/config/automoderator

    Code:
    type: comment
    author:
        contributor_quality: "= lowest"
comment: "Your CQS is lowest. Please improve the quality of your comments to meet subreddit standards."

    ---
    type: comment
    author:
        contributor_quality: "= low"
comment: "Your CQS is low. Please review subreddit rules and ensure your comments are meaningful."

    ---
    type: comment
    author:
        contributor_quality: "= moderate"
comment: "Your CQS is moderate. Keep contributing high-quality comments!"

    ---
    type: comment
    author:
        contributor_quality: "= high"
comment: "Your CQS is high. Thank you for maintaining excellent comment quality!"

    ---
    type: comment
    author:
        contributor_quality: "= highest"
comment: "Your CQS is highest. Exceptional contribution! Keep it up!"

Now make a post in that subreddit or use automoderator to make a post for you.
Every time you comment on that post you will get a reply from automoderator with your current Contributor Quality score.

Life lessons are a beautiful gift in the long run, but they don't always come wrapped in a shiny red bow.

Sometimes tragedy brings us wisdom, whereas other times joy does. No matter the season or difficult situation, life lessons are worth cherishing..

    * Don't try any suicide attempts in tough times. Hardships often prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny.

    * If your gut is screaming at you that something is wrong, Just listen to it.

    * Don’t wait until the right time. For most things there is no right time.

    * Your fear of failure is worse than the failure itself. Take the chance. Now.

There is something to be learned from everyone. Oh u can share your life lessons to Learn from..

What do you use, dear @Rem ?
    I actually had
    Paid Google One (1TB)+
    Microsoft 365 Family+
    & Proton Unlimited

However, Google did piss me off about 2 years or so ago
so i unsubbed and told them to go fuck themselves.
stopped using my google personal email more or less.

it not about privacy or google stealing data or anything
it's just how google does business with it's core customers. Not a big fan of it.

Chances are, many of you have used different codes or plugins on your website to warn visitors when they're about to leave your site by clicking on an external link.

    For example:
    1000052895.webp

    Code:
    http://transition.fcc.gov/fcc-bin/bye?https://google.com

The URL structure of the website shown in the image above looks like this: website.com
    /fcc-bin/bye?YOUR_WEBSITE_HERE

There are hundreds of similar scripts out there, and the interesting thing is that by simply swapping out the original link with your own, the page will still load - but now it includes your website as a do-follow backlink.

In fact, you’ll get two backlinks: one from the naked URL and another from the "Continue" button. It’s actually quite easy to discover sites like these using specific Google search footprints.

    Cheers!

all 3 in lowercase worked for me
All these concerns about abusing the trophies and in the end it's us hahaha

OK, there is no more bookmark button in the new threads page.
    Yeah I agree.
On another forum there's a bookmark button on the homepage. When I suggested they remove it, they asked-ignored-locked my suggestion so to this day, you can bookmark their homepage.
I think the worst part about that is that it's actually really easy to remove. You literally just have to add a few lines of code to the page node.

I think that it would be better to auto-lock them a few days after it is marked closed. Even though now it's manageable, in a few months we could have thousands of threads being bumped every day and we're very likely to lost track for what needs and doesn't need to be answered.

    poor @roydan

Okay, I for sure agree with this, but this is another one of those things where I'm trying to figure out how to balance being mostly hands-off and not dictating how someone tries to sell with rules and guidelines.

One thing I am fine with doing is putting restrictions on using brand names in the titles and sales copies. I implemented this after a user created some accounts with brand names. I let him keep the names of the accounts he made as he was just having fun roleplaying, but I did put restrictions in to prevent people from signing up as "Facebook Account Seller" or something.

To prevent our marketplace from becoming... that, I can add the same thing in and cite that there are issues with potential secondary liability with Safe Harbour provisions. Something I'm doing with the rules here is putting why they're there.

Here's what I added to The Trading Post rules:
You may not use brand names, celebrity names, or other copyrighted or trademarked material in your thread titles or sales copy in a promotional or misleading way.
    • Permitted exceptions include neutral, factual use such as “Instagram accounts for sale.”
    • This rule exists to reduce the risk of secondary liability under Safe Harbour provisions.
If you can think of anything else to prohibit, I'm all ears.
