I think a badge like that should be earned over a long time not purchased. I don’t know what the exact duration or criteria might be, but maybe there could be some requirements. Like... Having a regular patron badge for many years, then a lifetime badge as a reward makes sense. Just a thought :)

I usually start it myself and get it up and running with everything like contact page, payment gateway and all that. After some time, once it’s already making sales, I use part of the money to hire someone to redesign it and give it a more premium look.
